Summary: "Holy crap yes."

Such a fantastic book, a huge step up from 3rd edition. Everything makes a lot more sense, from skills and emphasis to advantages and disadvantages. They really did a great job of balancing out the schools and families. It's no longer possible to make a beat all character anymore (something that was far to easy to do in 3rd edition). I would recommend it to anyone who's already played the game, but I would also say that this new edition makes for a great pen and paper RPG to start off with if you've never played one before but think you might like to. The layout is simple and easy to understand, the rules are likewise, and the art is amazing (and all of it is in full color!) Truly a great buy, don't let this one slip by you.
